Interactive Resource Centre has continued its commitment to explore the capacity of images to transcend language barriers and create a powerful vision of a democratic Pakistan with Pakistan’s preeminent political cartoonist and former Reagan-Fascell fellow Sabir Nazir as a part of IRC Team. IRC has organized a workshop for visual arts students and local artists. IRC conducted an initial 3-day online workshop focused on creating images that convey democratic ideas and values. IRC selected 7 of the participants to develop a democracy and human rights-themed mural or art installation that will be displayed in a government building and then donated to a rights-based organization.
