The interfaith harmony campaign in collaboration with Church World Service (CWS), engaging 2500 religious leaders from different faiths aims at promoting peaceful co-existence and interfaith community development. IRC worked towards the formation of peace committees and providing a platform for young religious leaders to launch interfaith dialogue within their communities. Radio programs were organized and aired in cities throughout Sindh and Punjab where local issues such as safe drinking water and education were discussed in context of religious co-existence among various religious leaders.
In addition to this peace building training for religious leaders were organized that were documented and published on maati.tv along with the follow up activities of this campaign such as celebration of religious holidays and examples of good relations between the religious leaders.
